Mahogany

With a quite distinct and lustrous grain and a texture ranging from medium to course, mahogany produces a variety of forms: plain stripe, broken stripe, mottle, fiddleback, fine crotches and faux swirl. The heartwood is a light pink brown that darkens to a deeper red-brown upon exposure.
